CTA and ALCO: new opportunities on the French market

CTA Group, through TAD Long Products, acquired the majority share of Alco SAS.

TAD Long Products S.p.A. has finalized the acquisition of 65% of the shares of the French
Company Alco SAS.

TAD Long Products, based in Caronno Pertusella, at the gates of Milan, is a leading company in Italy in the distribution of seamless and welded tubes, fittings and bars. The presence on the market is significant in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil-pressure and Mechanical segments and, thanks to the synergies within CTA Group, in the Hydraulic and Prenumatic fields.

Alco, based in Tournant en Brie, is a company active since 1979 in the distribution of seamless stainless-steel pipes and fittings. A range of conventional products is intended for the naval, petrochemical and cryogenic markets, to which a qualified RCCM range for nuclear industry is added. In the last few years, its commercial capacity has embarked on a continuously growing path, thus opening the Company to new business opportunities.

The acquisition is part of a broader project of growth and positioning for the entire Group, by introducing it again to the French scene, with a niche distributor of stainless-stell, present on the renewable market, and therefore allowing to strengthen its presence in a sector of high value-added materials.

TAD Long Products S.p.A. was assisted by Simmons&Simmons France, with the lawyers Savina Jouan, Christian Taylor, Antonine Melchior and Sandra Esquiva-Hesse.  Alco was advised by Linkers Fusions & Acquisitions, acting as financial advisor, and by the law firm Les-Bras Avocats.
